The Maritime Museum and the William Paca House & Garden are two of the best museums where you can learn about the history of Annapolis. The Eastport Arts Center provides performance space and instruction for children and adults in music, dance, and visual arts. 
 
There are so many options to get out on the water in Annapolis. On Wednesday nights, there are sailboat races. Pirate Ship Adventures is a fun way to get children involved while they are out looking for buried treasure. Since Annapolis is the “Sailing Capital,” sailing trips are especially fun. Schooner Woodwind can take you out sailing on their 74-foot schooner. Capital SUP has paddle boarding and kayaking rentals and lessons.
 
Some of the annual events Eastport residents look forward to are the Sock Burning festival in May, the Royal Naval Regatta in October, and the Eastport Oyster Festival. Eastport keeps holidays fun with Boo at the Zoo, the Memorial weekend South County Art Tour, a parade on July 4th, and several holiday markets throughout December.
