Arnold, Maryland, is a community of approximately 23,000 residents situated on the Broadneck Peninsula. Located 20 miles east of Washington, D.C in Anne Arundel County, Arnold is a suburb of Annapolis. Ritchie Highway and College Parkway are the two main thoroughfares that provide residents easy access to Route 50 for commuteability to Annapolis and the DC Metro area. Residents enjoy the close-knit feel of Arnold, but the access to Annapolis and Baltimore allowing families to enjoy the suburban amenities in this bayside community while also being close to the attractions offered by a large city.
Beaches and riverside recreational areas are scattered throughout Arnold with many communities having water accessibility. Boaters and sailors have access to more than 10 different marinas in the area. Additionally, golfers can hone their skills at Bay Hills Golf Club, which features a superbly designed 18-hole course. One of the most beloved parks in Arnold is the Sandy Point State Park, a beach on the Chesapeake Bay. Finally, one of the best community colleges in the state is Anne Arundel Community College, and the Arnold campus offers many academic and non-academic programs for students and adult learners.

Things to Do
Arnold is home to two popular trails beloved by runners, walkers and bikers: the Baltimore-Annapolis Trail and the College Parkway Jogging Trail. Broadneck Park and Arnold Park are two of the most popular parks in Arnold
